What is this event?
The Archdiocese of Oklahoma City equips and certifies catechists of children, youth, and adults. If we are called by Jesus Christ to Go Make Disciples, it is necessary that this discipleship be rooted in the person of Jesus Christ, His salvific work, and the teachings of His Church. By participating in all four workshops on one of these days and completing all Safe Environment requirements, catechists will be equipped and certified for the upcoming ministry year.
What are the four workshops for Basic Certification in All Ministry Areas and when are they scheduled on these Saturdays?
9:00am Workshop 1
11:00am Lunch
12:00pm Workshop 2
What if I have already participated in one or more of the four workshops or completed a workshop online at FranciscanAtHome.com?
Are group registrations possible?
Yes, the Blessed Stanley Rother Institute can register participants as a group. Your Parish Catechetical Leader can email Dr. Jason Fugikawa (jfugikawa@archokc.org) with the list of confirmed participants. Be sure to include their full name (the one they are using for FranciscanAtHome.com, and their email address (again, the one associated with FranciscanAtHome.com).
