The YWCA has a transitional housing program for women and children who are victims of family violence. Participants have up to two years to obtain the education and job skills training needed to begin a new life. Services include case management, child care, counseling, legal services and transportation. There are seven apartments, including one handicapped accessible unit. All are equipped with furnishings and basic household items, The apartments are a two-year housing program that allows a woman to get back on her feet while going to school, job training or working toward self-sufficiency. The Surviving Divorce Program offers hope and healing to those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage. The 14 week session is for the newly separated or divorced and those still struggling with issues many years later.
Classes are planned for 2020 at St. Eugene in Oklahoma City (February-May), St. Monica in Edmond (March-June), St. John the Baptist in Edmond (Summer), Holy Spirit in Mustang (Fall) and St. Joseph in Norman (Fall).

Experience the healing love of Jesus Christ on a Rachel’s Vineyard weekend retreat. The retreat offers an opportunity to deeply enter into the grieving process and identify the ways your abortion may have affected you. Discussions, spiritual exercises, prayer and reflection are combined with the Sacrament of Reconciliation, a Memorial Service honoring your child and a Mass of Resurrection.
