Oklahoma Catholic Native Schools Project The Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, the Diocese of Tulsa and St. Gregory’s Abbey have launched the Oklahoma Catholic Native Schools Project to better understand the history and experiences of native students in Oklahoma Catholic boarding schools from 1880 to 1965. Black and Indian Mission Collection The Black and Indian Mission Collection in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City is in March. It comes during Lent, which is a time to concentrate on prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Organ recital series St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1901 N.W. 18 St. in Oklahoma City will host a spring organ recital series each month from March to June. Grief to Grace retreat A Grief to Grace retreat will be held April 16 – 21 in Tulsa. Grief to Grace retreats have helped people with feelings of shame, guilt, depression, anger, substance abuse, self-harm, anxiety and more caused by trauma or abuse. Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma is sponsoring the five-day retreat where participants receive Christ centered healing with the help of therapists and clergy. Space is limited.
