March 25, Catholics from across both the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and the Diocese of Tulsa came together at the State Capital for Catholic Advocacy Day. Both Archbishop Coakley and Bishop Slattery spoke on Religious freedom. The event was sponsored by Catholic Charities of Oklahoma City and Catholic Charities of Tulsa.
