Go Make Disciples: In print, online and in the pews

Dear friends of the Sooner Catholic,

What an amazing year. We are privileged and blessed to participate in the vibrant and growing parish communities throughout the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, and to spread the Good News of Our Lord.

We are in the midst of an exciting time with renewed and bolstered passion for His Word and a desire for a personal relationship with Jesus. The Sooner Catholic is committed to embracing the Church’s mission through education, celebration and evangelization.

As Archbishop Paul Coakley wrote in his pastoral letter, “Go Make Disciples,” our sacred purpose, as the people of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, is to joyfully witness to our Catholic faith in Oklahoma through the teaching, sanctifying and governing ministry of Christ and His Church, so that the Body of Christ is made present, the universal call to holiness proclaimed, and all people are welcomed into the promise of eternal life.

The Sooner Catholic exists to support you in that work.

To help us continue this effort, please consider giving to the Sooner Catholic Campaign with a gift of $20, $50 or more. Your gift makes it possible for all parishioners, including those on a fixed income who cannot afford it, to receive the newspaper at no cost. To pay online, go to: https://archokc.weshareonline.org/ws/opportunities/SoonerCatholicCampaign.

May God bless you, and thank you so very much for your support!

Yours in Christ,
Diane M. Clay
