"It is not enough to show generic concern for the family in pastoral planning.  Enabling families to take up their role as active agents of the family apostolate calls for 'an effort at evangelization and catechesis inside the family.'" (Pope Francis, The Joy of Love, 200)

Join Archbishop Paul Coakley and Catholic families from all over the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City on Saturday, April 22 at St. Gregory’s University for a day of faith & fun!

Our special guests will be Dr. Greg and Lisa Popcak of More2Life Radio and speaker/musician Cooper Ray.

Annual Pentecost Novena Begins May 26

Pope Paul VI taught us that the Holy Spirit is the "Principle Agent" of evangelization.  In the "New Evangelization" it is essential that we seek his help and cultivate devotion to the Holy Spirit.  Over a century ago, Pope Leo XIII asked that every church in the world pray the Novena to the Holy Spirit every year in the nine days leading up to Pentecost.

This year, Pentecost falls on June 4.  The novena prayers begin on Friday the 26th of May.  The Office of New Evangelization has prepared novena booklets for use in parishes, or by individuals.  These are available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
