2014 Jubilarians video

 This year (2014) the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City has four Jubilarians, Fr. Kevin Devlin and Fr. William B. Ross celebrated 60 years of priesthood, Fr. Jesus Sancho-Martin, OCD celebrated 50 years of priesthood and Fr. Paulose V. Kottackal celebrated 40 years of priesthood. In this video Fr. William B. Ross and Fr. Paulose V. Kottackal reflect back over their priesthoods.

"Go Make Disciples" is the new, five-year vision statement of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.

"This vision will guide our archdiocesan family over the course of the next five years," Archbishop Coakley has said. "It is where we are going. It is the vision against which we will evaluate and justify our initiatives, programs, ministries and expenditures. It reflects who we are and what we do."

Lent 2014

A Call to Prayer

Last November, the U.S. bishops issued a call to prayer, penance and sacrifice for the sake of renewing a culture of life, marriage and religious liberty in our country. Since then, millions of the faithful have joined in monthly Eucharistic holy hours in cathedrals and parishes, daily rosary, special prayers of the faithful at Mass, fasting and abstinence on Fridays, and the second observance of a Fortnight for freedom. Speak up for conscience rights today!

The USCCB recently released "Voices of Conscience," a 3:22 video that tells the story of healthcare workers who have been coerced to act against their consciences and urges viewers to support the Healthcare Conscience Rights Act.

Walk for Life OKC 2013

Kevin Calvey, state vice chairman, of Oklahoman’s for Life was the MC for the 2013 Walk for Life OKC event March 25. In this clip Calvey talks about the four prolife bills that are being voted on in this legislative session.  They are HB1588, HB2015 and HB 1403 and SB 915.

Blessing and dedication of St. Katharine Drexel new memory unit

Archbishop Coakley blessed and dedicated the new Cottages at Saint Katharine’s in El Reno. The 16-unit memory care center was added to Saint Katharine’s Assisted Living Center, a retirement home that was opened in 2007 by Sacred Heart Catholic Church in partnership with the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
